The Paco Catholic School libraries bring books and readers together. It is a dynamic institution for teaching the love and use of books and other instructional materials. The library facilitates the love development of God's gift of knowledge, values and contributes to the student's total development.

The Instructional Media Center aims to concretize the philosophy and objectives of the school and it deals with the following objectives:

  1. To meet the educational needs and levels of interests of the students;

  2. To develop students' skills and resourcefulness in the use of library materials;

  3. To create interest for life-long habits of reading;

  4. To provide materials that would help the students develop Christian Values;

  5. To appreciate new ways of learning through the use of multi-media equipment;

  6. To prepare them for higher education; and

  7. To provide professional materials needed to keep the faculty abreast with developments in education.

The IMC or school library provides adequate books, magazines, selected current periodicals, and other multi-media instructional materials to students and school personnel for their intellectual growth and development. Audio-visual rooms are also available for small and big groups upon reservation.

The IMC has installed an online catalog system that allows users to check the availablity of books and other materials usingthe school's Intranet.

Internet access is provided in an Internet nook also located at the ground floor of the IMC.

The IMC is located at the ground and second floors of the Rev. Fr. Godofredo Aldenhuijsen Heritage Center. The ground floor is the grade school's library while the second floor services the high school students and the faculty.

The Audio-Visual Rooms or Media Center are at the third and fourth floors. They house different kinds of non-print materials such as: slides, filmstrips, audio tapes, CD players, records, maps, globes, interactive CDROM's, educational VHS, DVD and VCD's, and other multimedia equipment which includes LCD, computers, video camera and others.
