OBJECTIVES OF THE GRADE SCHOOL DEPARTMENT

Grade School education aims to develop its students in the following aspects:

In consonance with the constitutional mandate and in pursuance to the institutional goals and objectives of PCS the Grade School Department is committed to produce an individual who

1. Is living witness to the Risen Lord as he/she actively participates in the community worship:
2. Practices good manners and right conduct at all times;
3. Reads with comprehension and applies in real life the value and right attitudes gained therein;
4. Expresses himself/herself adequately, concisely, and effectively both in Filipino and English either orally or in writing;
5. Has mastery of the basic facts and techniques of computation and uses these in analyzing and solving problems to present day living;
6. Keeps himself abreast with current situations, understands his role in society and strives to become a responsible member of his community;
7. Exhibits proficiency in scientific and technological processes and uses these in promoting health, solving problems and using leisure time;
8. Helps in the improvement of the community through active participation in the campaign for increase in food production, cleanliness, beautification and conservation of environment.
9. Is proud to be a Filipino, loves his people and his country, appreciates and perpetuates the beautiful customs and traditions of tf1e race and understands the ways and culture of the people;
10. Expresses enjoyment and appreciation of his/her life experiences, community activities and cultural heritage through music, fundamental arts and crafts;
11. Practices good health habits, participates in different kinds of sports, and foster at all times the spirit of teamwork, fair play and sportsmanship;
12. Demonstrates desirable work attitudes, basic skills and habits that will make him/her a responsible and productive member of a growing community as well as an efficient manager of resources.
