Paco Catholic School Research Development and Accreditation Center  envisions itself to be an effective arm of the institution that provides substantial data of information for sound and valid decision making, and extends assistance in the improvement of the quality and standard of the School’s instructional program.

MISSION

In the light of this Vision, the RDAC researchers commit themselves to:
Strengthen the structure of the research center;

• Provide assistance in the building-up of database information and the ability to collect, process, store and retrieve data;
• Develop skilled researchers and support staff, and
• Establish linkages with local and foreign research agencies.
• Institute a clearing house for ECE Educational Materials and Documents.

FUNCTIONS OF RDAC

Planning

• Gathers all existing data and information necessary for the drafting of succeeding development, plans and program.
• Presents short and long range development plans after prior consultation and coordination with all units of the institution.
• Conducts surveys and other research studies in various areas of development.

Organizing

• Utilizes research output and re-direct or re-channel to concerned units or departments to effect desired changes in the school community, its personnel and clientele.
• Assists the School Director in the implementation of approved institutional programs and projects in the furtherance of the school's objectives and goals.

Directing and Controlling

• Prepares feasibility studies for possible funding of any unit of the institution needing human and material support.
• Facilitates and supervises the operational phase special research-related projects.
• Monitors and documents proceedings and provides feed backing mechanism to record projects and programs undertaken by the office with prior approval of the administrative council
• Supervises and coordinates the technical and operational detail of the publication of the research journals, educational news clips and other school-based info publication and periodicals which the school may wish to publish.
• Facilitates accreditation processes for ECE, grade school and high school departments.

Evaluating

• Conducts school -related researches and other database activities to assess current institutional development profile and effect the desired performance level of units and services
• Keeps the Administrative Council, faculty and other key personnel informed of the on-going and terminal projects of the office through progress reports in the form of quarterly and annual reports, surveys and research findings and related outputs.
• Prepares summary reports of research outcomes and findings for the knowledge of key administrators.

The RDAC also publishes the bi-annual institutional magazine The PCS InfoLink.
